Coume del Mas was created by Philippe and Nathalie Gard in 2001. The domaine now has around 15 hectares of vines, principally on the steep slopes around Banyuls sur Mer.

Unlike much of France, the vineyards here are not shaped by religion, politics, or fashion. They are are the product of tireless men and women, dedicated to toiling in a harsh landscape for the treasures of the vine.

Working almost entirely by hand, the vigneron here is in close contact with his vines, and knows every inch of soil and every nuance of flavor it can bring. 

It is a challenging terroir, but we believe it can yield exceptional wines. We very much hope you enjoy them...
